The Bigfoot Discovery Museum

Last year I attended Bigfoot Discovery Days III in Felton, California. The event was hosted by Michael Rugg, curator of the Bigfoot Discovery Museum.

Felton, California is probably one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited and I would love to return there again this year for Bigfoot Discovery Days IV.

Guyism.com posted an article on Mike Rugg's museum a few months back noting that the museum was one of the top ten coolest roadside attractions in the United States. However, this year the museum has taken a tiny hit financially because of  the road construction that has closed off access to those who would happen to just drive by and might want to stop in.

Like I said, I would love to return to see  Bigfoot Discovery Days IV, and I urge you to donate to the museum to help make the event happen!  Heck, you can even donate through my website and I will present Mike with a big check just like Publishers Clearinghouse!

Please send your donations to:

If you would like to make an online donation via The Bigfoot Field Reporter you will have to use Internet Explorer if you are not logged in to google. Add a note indicating that the donation is for The Bigfoot Discovery Museum.

Enjoy Mike's video's

(Mike, I hope you don't mind!)

  1. MY HUSBAND CALLED ME BY CELL PHONE AT 6:20 AM TODAY AND TOLD ME HE SAW THE CRIPPLED BIGFOOT AT 3 MILE MARKER ON MILL CREEK/LOON LAKE ROAD. THE CREATURE WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED BY OTHERS AND WAS CROSSING MILL CREEK ALMOST UP TO ITS WASTE IN WATER. MY HUSBAND IS NOT A LOGGER NOR EMPLOYEE FOR THE GOVERNMENT. HE DOES WORK FOR A LARGER LOCAL MILL IN ROSEBURG, OREGON AS A CRUISER. HEAND ANOTHER PASSENGER BOTH GOT A GOOD LOOK AT IT AS IT LEFT THE WATER AND WENT INTO THE TREELINE.

(I thought I would share this sighting with you. It happened today and was reported today. This animal has been spotted often in the Loon Lake Scottsburg, Oregon area. Linda Newton-Perry)
P.S. I really enjoy your blog.

  2. Sorry Linda... we cannot believe a thing you say anymore. Ballyhoo unfortunately turn out to be just a series of stories, some of which have been proven to be hoaxes.

The Field Reported however maintains it high level of credo!!! Great job Sharon!!!!
