West Virginia

I haven't posted in a few days, but that doesn't mean I have been lazy!

Last week I was presented with this story.

I was ready to jump in my car and go, but decided to slow down since I am always too excited to follow up on these things.

I contacted the reporter, Matthew Earle and he gave me the witness's phone number.  I spoke with Mr. Harison briefly and he apologized for making such a big to do about the "howling" he heard in the woods.

Upon further investigation on his part, he discovered that the sound was actually mechanical in nature, and was emanating from a nearby property that was under construction. It seems an air compressor was the culprit.

Mr. Harrison was slightly embarrassed and stated that it explains why the noise was heard mostly during the day.

Have a great day folks!  Remember, don't JUMP to conclusions! :)
