Does Anyone Know the Story on This Video?

To me it appears that the "eyes" do not line up and the mouth is in a frozen stable position.  To me it appears fake, but I am no video expert.  A reader has sent this in and would like to know a professional's opinion..a professional on video images, not Bigfoot...we won't go there today

  1. This isn't new bigfoot video Sharon, it's Oliver, a famous Chimpanzee. Others have tried to manipulate the video of him looking up at the camera in the past. Old news I'm afraid.

  3. I do not see the ears. In the video of the real Oliver, he has quite prominent ears.

  4. Sharon,

Here's a more in depth video on Oliver from one of the groups that studied him. Note the segment of the clip you posted about 1/3 of the way through. Ears visible in this one too.

Now here's an interesting twist re Oliver that you may have noticed mentioned. He had 48 Chromosomes not 47 like Chimps or 46 like humans. So MAYBE, he really was of the species that are akin to bigfoot in Africa. So while he is not bigfoot with respect to the research of the moment, well he may actually be a bigfoot. lol Or actually one of the other upright primates that have been reported in Africa.

He's also another interesting lesson of what we do to things we don't understand. He spent much of his life in a cage, on display as a curiosity.

I also noticed on the Wiki page that he had attempted to mate with female humans on more then one occasion. This is not the first non-human primate species that has tried to mate with a human. Birute Galdikas reported the same by one of her Orangutans and her female aid. So another lesson we should take from this is to not so quickly discard the occasional claim of those who say they were raped by a sasquatch. We don't know and its just more mystery that shouldn't just be discounted out of hand.

    But anyway, yes its Oliver.

  5. Oops, I must admit an error on my part. Apparently while Oliver had 48 chromosomes, that IS normal for a Chimpanzee which also have 48 not 47.

    He was still special. :)

  6. Oops, sorry but I made an error with respect to the chromosome count. It would seem that Oliver had 48, which IS the same number that chimpanzees have.

I guess while he still had many characteristics that scientists could not understand, he was still special.

Sorry if this info got posted twice, but not sure my earlier attempt worked.
