Final MonsterQuest Episode

Ok, Ok, so everybody else is blogging about the last MQ episode, so I figured I'd jump in as well.

I remember when I first saw the Gable film. It sure did give me goosebumps! I'm sure many of you have watched the film in slow motion, and analyzed every angle of the film.

Here is the entire footage of the Gable film clip...it shows every day life back in the 70's.

I just found this second video on youtube and I sure hope it is a hoax!

I hope that the MonsterQuest gang will give us some conclusive answers, however, I imagine this will remain one of Cryptozoology's unsolved mysteries....

  1. The film mentions a guy called Aaron Gable. Now, I could find noone by that name, but I *did* find record of a guy named Aaron Goble who died in the 80s. Note that Aaron was the guy who owned the truck, but not necessarily the one who died in the video - Goble died of a heart attack, I believe, something mundane.

The Gable family definitely is in that area. The name is more common near Detroit, but I found records of Gables from the uppermost counties including the one where the film was supposedly made.

I mean, given my name, I find it very interesting. The film definitely shows some animal, but whether it's the Dogman, well, the jury is out on that one.
