Mountain Lion Spotted Near Prime Squatch Research Areas

Mountain lion attacking livestock?

NEW CONCORD -- A menace seems to be prowling the fields and forests a few miles west of the Guernsey County line.
Muskingum County neighbors, Sally Metzger and Sherry Pickens, believe that a mountain lion is at large and preying on the cattle on Pickens' ranch.
The women became aware of the lion several months ago.
Metzger had been visiting her friend when she stepped outside at about 6:30 in the evening to head home. She looked across the road at the field and spotted the animal about 300 yards away.
"I said, 'Sherry, what's that in your field?' She said, 'That's a lion."
That was "the Friday after Easter."
They found the sight unnerving, but they put it at the back of their minds.
Then, in the past 15 days, four calves have been killed.
And, just a week ago, a cow was attacked, receiving a vicious laceration on its nostril.
On Monday, a hunter familiar with mountain lions, also known as cougars, stopped at Pickens' farm to investigate.
"He took one look [at the cow's wound] and said, 'Yep, that's a cat attack,'" Metzger said.
Pickens' son, J. J. Black, said that some people may believe the calves were attacked by coyotes.
"But the hunter said coyotes don't take on a full-grown cow," J.J. said.
Last fall, another cow was attacked, its face so severely injured that one of its eyes had popped out.
Pickens described the cat as a buckskin color, about 3 to 4 feet long and about 2 1/2 feet tall.
The hunter, who requested anonymity, said he definitely believes that there is a big cat on the prowl in the area.
Portions of the 300-acre farm are very rugged, with outcroppings of large rocks ideal for a secretive mountain lion, he said.
The hunter suggested that Pickens buy a donkey or two to mix in with the herd. Once the donkey bonds with the herd, it will be protective of the cattle. He also advised Pickens to take precautions for personal safety.
"He said she shouldn't walk around out here without a firearm," Metzger said.

A Perfectly Formed Cedar?

Via Cryptomundo

The man responsible for the video has stepped forward to comment. Here it is, unedited:
My name is Robert W Kryder. I shot and did the best job I could producing the vid. I did not and don’t want to prove anything to anyone. I just don’t care what anyone believes about this vid. It is what it is and that is REAL. I shared this to offer something for others to enjoy and use to gain more understanding … I already have recognition, respect and I am known for my honesty and integrity. I have nothing to gain from showing this other than friends and cooperation in finding some truth.
Wow, interesting to find and read these comments. Disheartening at first, followed up by disappointment. Sad in a way. I guess I never should have posted this vid at all. I waited 10 years to do so and only did after so many people I know urged me to do so. Now I understand why other finds and evidence fails to see the light of day. Who wants to share something just to be slammed by people who weren’t there and NEVER even took the time to ask. How rude. Just sit in here and write behind my back so I can’t answer anything. Fun to suppose huh guys? We here I am now ask….
And raisinsofwrath : You are just an ass. I never wrote any of that you liar.
I really love how all those people who have NEVER had their own encounter with a BF like to say what they WILL or WONT do. Like you know a damn thing. You don’t!!!
EVERY ONE OF YOU IS ALL TALK AND WON’T GO LOOK FOR YOURSELF !!! Keep your mouth shut and fingers still if you are not willing to go see. I challenge anyone in here to put up or shut u ! You want me to prove something fine, its on your dime now lets go! No excuses, lets go! Lets GO!!!
I worked that canyon area for 8 years solid. I stayed in a tent alone there for 8 mo. without leaving once. I/we had many many encounters in the years following this first time and know without a doubt what was standing there in the pic. This is the only vid I ever got and the only daylight sighting I ever had. Collected scat several times. Saw it close dozens of times at night.
John Ed Frost yelled BF because that’s what he thought of. He said it because these people have ranched these 100’s of thousands of acres for generations and know. They aren’t sitting on a couch and many don’t have TV’s.
For myself, I clocked in over 100 mi a week on foot in the field for many years. Not my living room (which has been a tent for the most part). Even now I have had no running water, no indoor bathroom, no kitchen etc in my place. Until you live out there for months at a time you shouldn’t make comments about what animals do or don’t do, or even what ones are there.
Here’s some truth:
They will stand perfectly still. Even 10′ ft off a trail as you walk by in the dark! Many, many animals do the same thing.
It was a long way away but I thought it was right in front of us the way he yelled… It stood out like a sore thumb to john who has looked at those mesas for 20 years. I don’t think it thought we could see it. But like just about every other creature you run into out there knew I would see it if it moved. To be honest, I really don’t think it cared !! It is a huge, proud, tough MF period.
It approached very close at night over the 8 years at our research site and didn’t really seem to be scared of us that much. It only broke and ran one time when it was exposed near the road in the moonlight when we emerged from a trail going to the truck. It stood up from crouching and bolted very very fast down through some salt ceders.
There are NO people running around out there after dusk. NO ONE. They are hardcore ranchers you just don’t get it. They get up @ 4:am and go to bed @ 9:pm 7 days a week even on Christmas. And don’t run around putting out targets, siliuette, cardboard, monkey suits whatever. People here work for a living and kill things endangering their cattle on a daily basis. They don’t shoot cardboard!
You people also don’t get that not too many years ago, cameras weren’t what they are now. And that people in some places are lucky to have one at all. This vid cam used in 95′ was the first I ever had and was one of the very first small cassette cams. It was 12 optical zoom x 10 dig. Before this it was film plain and simple !! So sorry its shaky… Gee you would think if I was going to fake it I would have had a tripod and not been jogging and out of breath. Geeze.
In the real world if you have a cam at all while you hike your either really lucky or a damn tourist. Most of the time its packed in my case/pack and in those days that was the first I owned. In the real world I never carry a tripod when hiking as I am not a photographer. In the real world your lucky to get the cam turned on fast enough even if its in your hands let alone set up a tripod in time. Yet you asses think its too shaky. Ya reality sucks.
It’s funny and cad that people refuse to learn. There are those like myself who have been around these animals and no one will really make the effort to learn from them. Just because the vid isn’t the way you imagine it should be or the animal doesn’t act like you think it should…. You say its not real. I am sorry but you imagination has no basis on reality. And the reality shown here is not affected by your vision of how it should be. Real just is what it is. I dont like the damn vid either. But Im not going to trash it just because the animal didnt run for me or that I was too far away.
If anyone really wants answers please write and ask. We have scat now that was collected mid winter @ 10,000′ in the Sandia Mtn range outside Alb NM. I would love to get it analyzed. I would be happy to offer locations, scat or whatever to anyone who is serious.
If anyone would ACTUALLY like to go out and get good evidence or will listen to the facts about the animals for a change please let us/me know.
If you want references on my character that can be arranged without a problem. Even those that don’t like me will tell you If I say it I’ll do it, and If I tell you I saw something then I did and can probably show you!!!
Thank you for reading. Please have some respect for people putting themselves out there and taking a chance on ridicule. It hurts the heart. I know I don’t like it.

  • did you guys try to reach the spot of this creature see if you can find any footprint or something like comparing the size with a person ..?
  • @SLAZHER62 yes we did return 2 weeks later on the spur of the moment with the land owners son. didnt have time to prepare as his folks had said no. prints were now 2 weeks old but they looked to be around 16". I could hardly see over the hill when I stood there.
  • amazing! thanks for sharing, I've had my fair share of the unknown in the lonely badlands myself, I've also found out that not pursuing is definitely the best course of action, out there the same "rules" that operate "in here" are meaningless! good luck! great analysis!
  • @MrProphetMan Thank you.
  • crazy were you guys scared at all???
  • @jks123ish ... We were kinda in denial. It was a little un-nerving on the way back in the dark.

  • i believe you because that "bigfoot" won't move and it is said that when a bigfoot knows that a human is starting at it the don't move at all
  • @rmcdaniel423 I would totally agree and would certainly have titled it something like that had it been the only encounter with this particular "silhouette". I worked this remote area for 8 years. I stayed there alone for 8 mo. at one time in tent base camps. I encountered this "silhouette" in absolute 3-d dozens of times. full view by moonlight @ 30'. Off trail view in the dark 10'. We named him hairy and 8 people had personal encounters with it over 8 years. I collected scat & saw what it ate.
  • Instead of "Bigfoot 95", the title should read "Sorta Primate-Shaped Silhouette 95".
  • WE SHOT THIS ON VIDEO TAPE IN 95'. WE STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL VIDEO. IF ANYONE THINKS THEY CAN DO BETTER ENHANCEMENT PLEASE CONTACT US. ANYONE WHO THINKS WE ADDED DATA OR WERE DRAWING IN NEW DATA, YOUR WELCOME TO VIEW THE RAW VIDEO AND IF NEED BE COPY TO TAPE. THE AMOUNT OF DIGITAL DATA IN THESE IMAGES (RESOLUTION) IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE CAPABILITY OF THE SAMPLING HARDWARE/SOFTWARE. THIS WAS DONE WITH THE BEST AVAILABLE IN 95'. THE SOFTWARE TO FILTER THE SAMPLES WAS ALSO THE BEST IN 95'

Update on the Killing of Bigfoot

Derek Randles, founder of the Olympic Project, offers clarifying information regarding this explosive issue.
OK, it’s time to put a few things to rest. I just spoke to the “bear hunter”, who is also my friend. He is beside himself because of all the BS being spread. He’s asked me to clarify a few things here on this forum. First of all, he is not a poacher. I repeat, not a poacher. Second, it was bear season and he was hunting in a legal area with a bear tag. Please don’t ask me these things again. That’s the truth. Third, he has not killed 1000 bears. He’s killed 3 in his lifetime. Yes 3, not 1000. It’s also very important to note, he never gave Sasquatch a second thought. He was a complete skeptic. Because of his unfamiliarity with the Bigfoot subject he had no idea of what he was looking at through his riffle site. He assumed that it was a very strange looking bear that was standing on it’s hind legs. In his mind that’s all it could have been, a bear. When the bullet hit its mark, it started to become apparent that it wasn’t a bear. It did not drop right there, it ran off. They thought they heard it crash in the brush but did not see it go down. Things started getting very weird at this point. Two smaller creatures appeared from the brush, sometimes on two feet, and sometimes on all fours. In his description they looked like a cross between an ape and a bear. They got very close to him and at one point one positioned itself above him on a outcrop. He shot it out of fear of being attacked. Probably the same thing I would have done in the given circumstance. When I’m in the wilderness I always pack a gun to protect my self from wild, sometimes unpredictable animals. There are a few times I thanked God I had it. This was starting to feel like a nightmare to him and he quickly left trying to wrap his mind around what had just happened.
It’s very important to note that he doesn’t feel good about this incident. As a matter of fact he felt terrible. This was a case of miss-identification plane and simple.
At a later date a search was carried out at the site and a piece of flesh was recovered. NOT A BODY, only a small piece of flesh witch was later cut in two pieces, hence the cut line. I’ll say it one more time, no body’s were found or recovered.
It’s very unfortunate that this happened, but hopefully some good will come out of it. I’m probably going to have a whole bunch of people mad at me for talking about this, but my first obligation is to the bear hunter. He’s my friend and I gave him my word that I’m there for him. He wanted me to convey this message, so take it or leave it, it’s the truth.DR

The Adrian Erickson Project

New Erickson Project News: Bigfoot DNA Project Using Two Dead Bigfoot Bodies for Samples

Robert Lindsay

I was recently put into touch with a hunter from Western North America who is quite well known in his field. You might even say that he is famous. He and others were the subject of a recent book, and he often gives talks at various forums. He was offered a position at America’s foremost science museum but turned it down for unknown reasons.
He is considered to be at the top of his field, which I will not reveal here. He is also a hunter and travels around North America hunting. He especially likes to hunt bears. He has killed over 1,000 bears in his life, including grizzly bears. This puts him in touch with many other hunters. He is also active on taxidermy boards. He has deep ties to the Erickson Project and the Olympic Project.
He will be known anonymously as Bear Hunter in this article, as he only talked to me on the grounds that his identity was kept secret.
Robert Lindsay: Hi, what made you decide to get in touch with me?
Bear Hunter: Well, I read your article where you interviewed Richard Stubstad, and I thought, “Wow! This guy is hot on the trial! He’s really close. He’s closing in. I could not believe you had access to this information. So I decided to fill in some blanks for you.”
RL: Is there a reason why you decided to spill the beans on this hot news to me just now?
BH: Yes, I am getting very impatient with the pace of this project. You know, it’s always coming out this year, then next year, then this year again, then next year again, then this spring. It goes on and on. I’m getting tired of it. I want to jumpstart this project and tell them to get going and finish it up.
RL: You say you have some blockbuster news regarding the Erickson Project Bigfoot DNA study, right?
BH: Yes I do. But first of all, let’s start at the beginning. This all started from a thread on Taxidermy.net, a website where I hang out sometimes. There are periodic threads on Bigfoots, and in this one thread, a fellow said that he had just shot two Bigfoots! The guy is a trapper, a taxidermist and a hunter. This was blockbuster news of course, and soon there were many followup posts. Somehow the guy’s name and number got out, and there were reports of people bothering him and harassing him. He asked the webmaster, George Ruff, to shut down the thread. George shut it down.
Well, afterward, I got in touch with the guy and talked to him for a while. Others talked to him too, including Adrian Erickson and Matt Moneymaker. Tyler Huggins was involved too. Moneymaker and Huggins are with the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Research Organization). Erickson had heard of  Bigfoots getting shot, in fact, he had collected a number of stories from Canada where they get shot fairly regularly. But, as he put it, he said he had never been two weeks behind a shooting before. Everybody was frantically scrambling after this guy.
RL: How was it that the Bigfoots came to be shot, and were they killed?
BH: This fellow was hunting on the border between Nevada and California, inside California, near a game refuge. (RL: Based on my investigation, it took place in or near the Dixie Mountain Game Refuge west of Frenchman Lake on the Plumas National Forest in Plumas County. See a map here). He was poaching bears out of season, as it later turned out.
One one side of the game refuge, there was a single road in a canyon leading into and out of the refuge. Bigfoots were apparently using the game refuge, as they are safe from hunters there.
The guy was on this road when he suddenly came upon a large dirty-white Bigfoot standing in the road blocking his way. Since the narrow road was the only route in and out of the place, the Bigfoots were forced to use this road whether they wanted to or not. The Bigfoot was standing there waving its arms at him. Apparently he was telling the hunter to back up so the Bigfoot could move through, since the Bigfoot was stuck on the road.
The guy jumped out of his truck, and for some unknown reason, he shot the Bigfoot with a 25.06. The Bigfoot whirled around, and he shot it again through the side of its chest, piercing its lungs. The Bigfoot fell down dead.
Next thing he knew, he heard loud barking sounds coming from the side of the road. There were two young Bigfoots that suddenly appeared out of the cover there. They were brown-colored. Apparently they were upset that the parent Bigfoot had just been shot. For an unknown reason, the hunter aimed at one of the young Bigfoots and shot it dead!
He said it died in his arms. 4 feet tall, about 80 pounds. He told me it had a huge head, and then I knew it was a young Bigfoot, because the young ones have gigantic heads while they are still young. The head is more normal sized as they get older. Remember that “Pancake Video” from the Kentucky Project, with the young Bigfoot with the huge head that everyone was saying was a human with some birth defect? Well, that is what they look like when they are young. Have you seen the Jacobs footage that they say is a mangy bear?
RL: Yes, what is it? A bear?
BH: No way. It’s not possible. It’s a juvenile Bigfoot. You can tell by the head. Look at how huge that head is. And the neck. The thing has no neck. I know bears inside and out. I’ve shot over 1,000 of them. I love bears. No way is that a bear.
RL: What did he do with the Bigfoots?
BH: He told us that he left them lying there. There was snow on the ground, so we figured that there might still be enough time to go and get the bodies. Pretty soon though, we figured out that the guy was lying. First of all, he was poaching. Erickson confronted him about that, pointing out that bear season was closed in that area at the time. We soon figured out that he had taken the bodies, because taxidermists never leave anything they shoot in the field.
RL: What happened to the dead Bigfoots?
BH: Well, we put the guy in contact with the Olympic Project that is working on Bigfoots in Washington State. We didn’t hear much for a while, only that the OP folks said that they wanted to keep this guy out of jail. The hunter was convinced that if California figured out he shot these two Bigfoots, he was going to jail. He was really afraid of going to jail.
RL: Ok, then?
BH: Moneymaker and the BFRO were in on this too, and they were furious that they missed out on the body. Matt was hopping mad. He missed the boat.
We didn’t hear much more for a while until the Olympic Project starting sending samples to Melba Ketchum for her DNA project as part of the Erickson Project. Some of the samples that they were getting were of tissue, and they appeared to have been carved off a dead body! Some of the samples had dirty white hair, and the others had brown hair. It was obvious that the Olympic Project was sending Ketchum samples carved from the bodies of the two dead Bigfoots! Incredible!
RL: Who has the Bigfoots, the hunter or the Olympic Project?
BH: I think that the hunter still has the bodies. He has probably cut them up, cut off the heads, and has them on ice. They can last a long time like that. I don’t think that the OP wants to mess with the bodies themselves, and I don’t think the hunter is going to give them up.
We did a lot more digging, and we found that now the hunter is associated deeply with the OP. He’s part of their project. Of course the OP will not admit to anything. They deny it all, and they say they have no dead Bigfoots, and they don’t have access to any. But they are lying. It’s not true.
RL: Incredible news!
BH: Yes, there are some more things too. Notice how the Olympic Project is all over the Internet boards talking about how  they have enough Bigfoot samples to last for years? Guess why they say that? Because they have access to two dead Bigfoot bodies!
RL: Too much…Do you know about any leaks from the Erickson Project DNA study?
BH: Yes, I do as a matter of fact. They are very close to humans. Say if chimpanzees are 2 clicks away from humans, these things are maybe 3/4 of a click away.
RL: Ok, and they are in the Homo line?
BH: Yes, I am sure of that. Recall that say 50,000 YBP, there were maybe five different hominids on the planet. Homo sapiens sapiens, Homo erectus, Homo Floresiensis, Denisova, Homo heidelbergensis and Neandertal Man. All of these other hominids are gone as best as we can tell. What happened to all of them?
RL: We killed them all.
BH: Yes, we killed them all. So the only thing that could survive was something that was huge, very stealthy and wary, hated humans, favored the most remote areas, had the use of bad smell to ward off enemies, used infrasound or an intense EMF field to paralyze and disorient enemies, was very strong and had a very thick skin that was hard to penetrate. They’re the ultimate survivors of man’s genocidal wars.
RL: Do you think they are humans or apes?
BH: I don’t know. You know Bindernagel wrote that book, America’s Great Ape, but then after he saw the Bigfoots in Kentucky, he changed his mind. Now he thinks that they are hominids. But I know one fellow who saw one face to face on a trail. He said it’s ape-like, it’s an ape-man. So who knows?
RL: Do you have any info on the Kentucky Project?
BH:  do. Erickson bought that place, and he got a lot of great video out of there. He installed Dennis Pfohl and Leila Hadj-Chikh there, and they shot quite a bit of Bigfoot video. Erickson said he had so much good Bigfoot video that he was getting tired of taking pictures of them. At one point, he brought Bindernagel down there to see the Bigfoots. Bindernagel was able to see them. He also wanted to bring John Green down there, but he was very sick with prostate cancer and could not make it.
A friend of mine saw the famous video of the young female Bigfoot walking in the forest. She walks towards the camera, then sees the camerawoman, growls and turns away. He said there is no way that this could be a costume, forget it. They also shot video of a huge male at that site, but everyone is keeping very quiet about that.
RL: Do you believe that Erickson is in it for the money?
BH: I get so tired of hearing this. Erickson has sunk $3 million of his own money into this thing. $3 million! He hasn’t made one nickel back.
RL: Do you have any information about Erickson’s movie about Bigfoot?
BH: Yes, it’s finished! 100% completed. They are just waiting for the DNA study to finish up, and I have no word on that yet.
RL: Do you know if Dr. Ketchum has any TV or film interests in the works?
BH: Yes, she is involved with National Geographic. They want to do a special on Bigfoot, and she is involved in that.
RL: What’s the relationship between Bigfoots and trappers?
BH: Bigfoots hang out along traplines and raid the traplines. I heard of one case where a Bigfoot actually got caught in a trap. The Bigfoot actually extricated itself from the trap by bending the solid steel!
RL: You say you hear a lot of stories of Bigfoots getting killed?
BH: Yes, I have gotten a story about every 2 months now for some time. There are many stories coming out of Canada too. Erickson has also heard many stories. It’s the same every time. People kill it, and it looks so much like a human being that they leave it in the field because they are afraid they are going to be prosecuted for murder.
RL: I say that if you believe in Bigfoot, you must also believe in a few things. 1) People are shooting at and killing these things regularly. 2) There must be a government coverup. 3) We are photographing and videotaping Bigfoots on a fairly regular basis.
BH: I agree. As far as a government coverup, of course the government must know about these things. And I know that the timber industry knows about them. And people shoot at them or shoot them all the time.
There was a recent case in British Colombia where the Fish and Wildlife people were poisoning wolves. They are supposed to tell trappers about this, but they didn’t in this case. A trapper found a dead wolf and huge tracks leading away from it. The tracks were of a Bigfoot which had been poisoned by eating the wolf. The guy tracked it for a while, but then lost the trail.
He reported it to the Game people, but they paid him $20,000 to shut him up. They kept saying, “So, you lost 5 cougar dogs tracking that thing. That’s worth about $20,000.” He hadn’t lost any cougar dogs. He finally figured out they were offering him money to shut him up, so he took the money.
RL: What’s the motivation for the coverup?
BH: In Canada, I know they are worried about resource lockup. They are afraid it will curtail logging. I know that up there, as soon as there is a Bigfoot sighting, the timber people will get word of it and come in and clearcut the area. That’s done to drive the Bigfoot off, because they don’t want the Bigfoot on their logging land. They’re afraid it will keep them from logging the land.
RL: Do you think Bigfoots are getting habituated to humans in any way?
BH: Yes, a friend of mine in Alberta told me about a Bigfoot that is living on the outskirts of the Edmonton dump, living off the garbage, foraging food out of the trash. People tracked the thing way back into a remote area and found its nest. All sorts of stuff from the dump had been hung in trees 8-10 feet up, bicycles, chairs, you name it. The Bigfoot was decorating its home with that stuff.
RL: Wow!
BH: Yes, I have so many stories. When I go to give my talks, I always say if you have any Bigfoot stories, come up and talk to me afterward. Every time, people come up to talk to me. All sorts of people. They generally haven’t told many others about their sightings, and in all cases, they have not reported it to any private or public agency.
One guy told me how he was hunting in a swamp in the Southeast US, and he passed out from the swamp gas. The stuff can overwhelm you and make you pass out.
He woke up, and he was next to a spring. There was a huge 8-foot Bigfoot crouched down next to him, offering a cup of water from the spring. The cup had been hanging from the spring. People sometimes hang metal cups from springs. He took a drink, passed out again, and then woke up again later. The Bigfoot was still there, and it offered him another drink. He drank it and passed out again. He woke up the third time, and the Bigfoot was gone.
RL: Do you think that tracking dogs are good for tracking Bigfoots, say in order to capture one? Jeff Meldrum has been talking about that a lot lately.
BH: I think dogs are useless when it comes to tracking these things. You know, I am a hunter, and I use tracking dogs all the time. We take people out on guided hunts, and I hunt myself all the time using guides. Dogs will track anything, but they won’t track these things. The scariest dog on Earth will be reduced to a pissing, shivering, whimpering poodle hovering around his master’s leg.
I knew one guy who sent 6 dogs after a Bigfoot. Only five of them came back; the 6th was torn up. The other five dogs were so traumatized that they were useless as trackers. They would never track another animal again. And these were good tracking dogs.
RL: What do you think of Bigfoots’ use of infrasound?
BH: I am not sure that they use infrasound. You see, all animals have an EMF field that they give off, and these things do too. One of my theories is that these things have a very strong EMF field that they give off, and they may be able to manipulate it. One thing you notice is that when these things are around, everything goes quiet, and most of the animals around take off. That’s because of the strong EMF field that they give off, I think. It scares the crap out of other animals.
I know that they use this field or whatever to disorient people. Erickson said he was being chased out of the forest in Canada by one once, and he was so disoriented and delirious that he had to keep looking at the moss on the trees, because you know, moss only grows on the north? That’s because the Bigfoot was disorienting him so much that he kept getting lost.
I am going to test this theory out by buying an outfit that they sell for $100. It neutralizes your own EMF field. Supposedly, you can wear it and walk right up to animals and touch them.
RL: Were you always a Bigfoot believer?
BH: Not at all. I was a skeptic until five years ago. Then I started looking into this thing, and all of these people started coming forward, including people I had known for years and trusted completely. I started getting swamped with these stories, even people I had known a long time had stories, but they had never told me! I dove into it, started doing a lot of research, and soon it became completely obvious that these things exist. People can ridicule me all they want to, and they do, believe me. But I don’t care; I know they are real.
RL: Have you met any skeptics who saw one?
BH: More times than I could count. And many were hardcore skeptics, scofftics as you call them. But then they saw a Bigfoot, and they all changed over to believers. They said that their lives were changed completely.

Finding Bobo

Awhile back, I made a fan page for Bobo on Facebook.  The description is "For all who have met Bobo or heard stories of his amazing awesomeness!"
It started out just because I was very appreciative of his heroic measures on that fateful August day in 2009 when we almost went over the side of a hill in our vehicle at Bluff Creek.

You can view my archived blog to read the story. Click here

Anyway, I invite you to "Like" the Facebook page titled I Love James "Bobo" Fay

Bobo will be on the road for the next 3 months but will try to keep in touch with us as much as possible!

New Bigfoot Movie to Begin Filming in October

By Peter Dimako

Thriller Exists follows group on a cabin trip hunted by bigfoot.

Haxan Films and Amber Entertainment have set an October start of lensing date for Eduardo Sanchez (Blair Witch Project) Exists bigfoot thriller/horror.
Jamie Nash and Sanchez wrote the story about a group in their twenties who, after taking a trip to a cabin in the wooded wilderness, are methodically hunted down by a Bigfoot-like beast, reports Dave Variety.
Hexan's Robin Cowie, Gregg Hale and Andy Jenkins are producing alongside Jane Fleming and Mark Ordesky of Amber.
Sanchez said that the "film is the first in a trilogy exploring and reinventing the Bigfoot myth. We all remember the terror of watching such classics as 'The Legend of Boggy Creek,' and I look forward to making Bigfoot scary again."
Brian Steele, known for his work on Hellboy, Predators and the whole Underworld trilogy, will portray the bigfoot beast while Weta Workshop and Spectral Motion are working together with the production team on the build and design of the monster.

In partnership with the Rhode Island Blood Center, Believe It Tour will be hosting a vampire-themed blood drive on Friday, 6/24/11, from 5-8 pm to help increase live-saving donations for Rhode Islanders. The drive will be held at the Rhode Island Blood Center’s main location at 405 Promenade Street in Providence.

The UNimPRESSive Conference

Yesterday a press conference was held, by members of Sanger Paranormal,  to reveal some allegedly astounding evidence regarding the existence of Bigfoot.

There were more people on the dais than there were people of the press.  These guys should have consulted the grand daddy of promoters if they were going to attempt a feat of this magnitude.

Unfortunately, as the conference went on and on the interest waned, people left and were not surprised when the proverbial "collection basket" was passed.

The color commentary in the chat room was highly entertaining and worth the 90 minutes of our time.

Bili Apes...In North America?

Time for a refresher course in anthropology...  Pan troglodytes is a term you may be hearing in the near future
From wikipedia-
In local parlance, the great apes of the Bili Forest fall into two distinct groups. There are the 'tree beaters', who disperse high into the trees to stay safe, and who easily succumb to the poison arrows used by local hunters. Then there are the 'lion killers', who seldom climb trees, are bigger and darker, and are unaffected by the poison arrows.
When Karl Ammann, a Swiss photographer and anti-bushmeat campaigner, first visited the region in 1996, he was looking for gorillas, but instead discovered a skull that had dimensions like that of a chimpanzee, but with prominent crest like a gorilla. Ammann purchased a photograph, taken by a motion-detecting camera, from poachers that captured an image of what looked like immense chimpanzees. Ammann also measured a fecal dropping three times as big as chimp dung and footprints as large as or larger than a gorilla's.
In 2000, Ammann returned to the area described by the bushmeat hunter with a group of ape researchers. Although they did not find a live Bili Ape, they did find several well-worn ground nests, characteristic of gorillas rather than chimpanzees, in swampy river beds.

The Bili Ape has been reported to walk upright, bipedally, at times, with the looks of a giant chimpanzee. Later observations by Hicks revealed that they are knuckle-walkers like other chimpanzees that only occasionally walk bipedally. Their footprints, which range from 28 to 34 centimeters, are longer than the largest common chimp and gorilla footprints, which average 26 cm and 29 cm, respectively. Hicks' team, in a year and a half of study, found no footprints longer than 30 cm, and most have been smaller.
According to Williams, "They have a very flat face, a wide muzzle and their brow-ridge runs straight across and overhangs. They seem to turn grey very early in life, but instead of turning grey-black like a gorilla, they turn grey all over." They develop uniform grey fur independently of age and sex, which suggests that greying takes place early in life-opposed to all known gorilla species, where only males gray as they age, with graying restricted to their backs.
Bili Ape skulls have the prominent brow ridge and may have a sagittal crest similar to that of a robust great ape, or gorilla, but other morphological measurements are more like those of chimpanzees. It should be made clear that only one of the many skulls found at Bili had a sagittal crest, thus it cannot yet be considered typical for the population. Chimpanzee skulls are 190 to 210 millimeters long, but four of five Bili Ape skulls measured more than 220 millimeters, well beyond the end of the normal chimpanzee range.[11]
Female Bili apes have genital swellings similar to other chimpanzees.[9]

Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax

Well, I may be one of the last people to have watched this DVD, but I am glad I did.  I spoke with Tom Biscardi a few days ago on the phone and he was real.  We talked about Bigfoot, the weather, Italian food, it was an easy and honest conversation.  He then mailed out to me his 3 DVD's, Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax, Bigfoot Lives and Bigfoot Lives 2.

I decided that if I were going to publicly associate with this man, then I am going to begin by watching Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax.  Afterall, I was one of the thousands of people who were reeled in by the Georgia Hoax and I wanted to know how could this have gotten so far?  My theory was that the government allows some stories that are obvious hoaxes to gain lots of media attention to show the public that anything about Bigfoot has to be fake.  That all Bigfoot enthusiasts are whack jobs!

AFTER, watching AoaBH, I was thinking to myself, Wow, that is totally believable.  But I had one nagging question...was the film recreated or were all of the events being recorded in actual time?  I spoke to Tom again and asked him that question and he said, "Doll, I never re-create anything!  What you see is what you get".

I highly recommend watching this DVD and then forming an opinion.  Every story has 2 sides.

I then watched Bigfoot Lives and as all of the monster chasing documentaries go, this one was right up there with the best!  The DVD ends with Mike Sells of Texas reporting his encounter with the creature amongst the cedars of the deep Texas forest.
Unfortunately, Bigfoot Lives 2 did not live up to the original.  It had fewer stories and lacked the punch of the first one.  However, the cinematography and production is done with professionalism.

So go out and beg, steal, borrow or purchase your copies today and tell me what you think!

Creature Captured on Amateur Filmaker's Camera

This video clip comes from a lad on Youtube who calls himself Joshfilmaker.  It depicts a large, dark creature either swaying back and forth or picking up things off of the ground.  What do you think?

The Challenge

Last week I mentioned how disgusted I was with Matt Moneymaker's attitude and portrayal of a leader in the Bigfoot Research field.  I was trying to be funny when I said that "Tom Biscardi looks like an angel lately compared to Matt".  Somehow, that back-handed "compliment" got back to Tom Biscardi and made him chuckle.

Next thing I know, we are chatting on the phone and he is mentioning me on his radio show.  I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing, but time will tell.

Later in the show he issued a challenge to Animal Planet and Matt Moneymaker and the BFRO to go out to a known hotbed of Bigfoot activity and see whose "team" comes back with the best results.

In my opinion, I think that would be a HIGHLY entertaining show.  A gem of Squatchertainment!

Here is the link to Tom's show containing his rantings, ravings and the ultimate throw down challenge to Matt and the BFRO.

Things That Go Bump In The Night

First I would like to thank all of my friends, family and support network that allow me to pursue my hobby/career of Squatchertainment.  You know who you are and your anonymity is respected.

For the sake of anonymity and integrity of the story, I am going to assign an initial to the characters of the story.  In no way is the initial pertinent to their identity.

Earlier this week I (E) was contacted by a good friend who I respect as a Bigfoot Researcher.  He is dedicated, thorough,  persistent and takes squatching seriously.  He also belongs to a paranormal research group and that is fine, but, you have to keep the two activities separated; as we learned this weekend. He is D.

The tale begins with the witness, A who told his friend, B, about Bigfoot activity on his property.  He was missing one pet, a dog, and had another pet of undisclosed origin, (hey even pets get anonymity!) on a tether outside of his home.  Let me interrupt myself right here and tell you that after a couple hours of driving and arriving at the intended destination, I am seeing a VERY familiar pattern with the habitat and environment of these recent Bigfoot sightings in my region.  Not naming counties, yes even counties deserve anonymity,  the 4 counties I have researched in the past year all have, heavy woods, coal and or strip mines, a vast open area leading to a river, and populations of well under 1000.  Okay, back to the story.

So A, tells B that his remaining pet was throwing a hissy fit and acting a fool one evening about an hour after sunset.  He got up from his bed, grabbed his deer spotting light and shined it out into the yard.  Behind a clump of 8-10 foot tall bushes he spotted what he described as two very large white hair-covered legs.  His attention was then drawn about 20 yards to the right to his garage where he describes a large black haired Bigfoot stood, his head about 3 feet taller than the top of the gate.  As soon as the light hit the dark one, it took off running up the hillside "faster than anything  he had ever seen in his life".  He then heard the white one take off running in the other direction.  He was convinced in his mind, that he had just seen a couple of Bigfoots.  So after A, tells B, B says, hey, I know a guy who does paranormal investigations, I'm going to tell him  your story!

B contacts C, an amateur paranormal investigator who owns an impressive amount of IR cameras, ala Ghost Hunters style.  C is very excited about the story, but has never researched or investigated a Bigfoot sighting in his life.  He then relays the information to D.

C, D and some other uninitialized characters go out to the property to set up game cameras and bait stations.  They observe that the woods come alive after sunset and witness several grunts, howls, whistles and screams.  The search is afoot!

I received the email from D on Monday when I return to work although he had sent it to me Thursday evening, serves me right for playing hooky on Friday or I would have gone with them last weekend!

He followed up the email with a very impressively, thorough report of the area, findings, witness statement etc.
He invites me to come out to investigate with them. Of course I am stoked!  I love this stuff!

On the evening that I wrecked one of our cars, I began getting excited and frantic texts from D.  A's neighbor spotted a Bigfoot in his yard and called the police", "There is a manhunt going on", "High powered rifles...shoot to kill"  SHIT!  Why is this happening 2 days before I get there????

In my mind I am thinking, if there were Bigfoots in the area, they surely won't be sticking around for the gun show!  Damn!  WEll, I'll still go anyway because, I love this shit!  so anywho,  I meet D at the rendezvous spot and I make my approach to the LOCATION!  Ahh this is nice!  Peaceful, D tells me that only C and his wife will be joining us and we should be able to sit out and listen all night.  Awesome!

I am introduced to A and listen to him and D discuss what was going on all week.  I asked, so which one of your neighbors called the police to report a Bigfoot in their yard?  He says, "Huh?  I don't know about that".  Ugh, the unraveling of the story begins. So I say, "You know, State Police, high speed chase, high-powered weapons, shoot to kill???"  And he says, "Oh I don't know about all that!  I just heard some commotion on my police scanner, and the officer said "it's 30 yards in front of me, now it's 55 yards in front of me, it jumped over the bridge".  We don't know what "It" is.  There have been several mountain lion sightings recently.

D and I exchange a glance like, "Oh boy".  Like the game of Telephone, somewhere there was a breakdown in communication.

No worries! We still have the witness, game cams and an awesome night of squatching ahead of us!

C and his wife arrive.  C, D and E (me) head out for a good 3 mile hike.  The wife stayed back at the house with A and a radio.  Command Central.  I have no idea why we had to let C be in charge as he had never investigated a Bigfoot sighting, but, out of respect, we had to since he was the friend of B who gave him the lead.  Ahhhh.  Our fearful leader takes us right into the briar patch.  Oouch.  No worries!  I've been through worse!  We then ascend a hillside and he abruptly stops and says, "Look"  what? I see briars, trees, rocks.  "Look at those two rocks.  They seem out of place"  Ummm, excuse me, we are on the hillside in an area fraught with coal mines, strip mines...now if the rock showed up in the middle of your peanut butter and jelly sandwich, then I'd say, yeah, that doesn't seem natural.  Well he asked me to snap a pic of the rocks.  Here ya go.
Suspicious Rock!

Suspicious Rock's Evil Cohort!

Gorgeous view

Stix

Cave of branches

We travel on and we do find some tree bends and stick structures.  They take me to the area where they found a footprint the previous weekend but it had been obliterated by the rain.  But we did find another one!  Toes and all!  yay!

We do the necessary measurements, take the pics etc and move on.  The sun is beginning to set and we decide to head back, grab a bite to eat and relax before the evening activities.

The witness takes myself and D on a little tour of the neighborhood so we have the lay of the land.  Unbeknownst to myself or D, he pulls into a driveway of a person who had an ongoing Bigfoot invasion in the 70's.  These people have been interviewed and poked and prodded for over 30 years and were not surprised by his request to speak with us.  They were gracious and believable people.  Of course I didn't have my recorder, A had ambushed us! The gentleman witness told us that on one occasion he had the Bigfoot in his cross hairs.  The creature's glowing blood-red eye was the target, and he wanted to shoot.  He wanted to kill that thing once and for all.  And the Bigfoot stared him down as if to say, go ahead, do it.  But the man could not pull the trigger.  He believes to this day that the creature had willed him NOT to shoot.  Just as people who have a camera in their hand cannot take the picture of the Bigfoot.

I then asked the man my signature question, the question that haunts me, "Do you think the Bigfoot was more Human or Animal?"  He looked at me, without blinking and said, "Animal".  I want to tell you that these witnesses live in an impressive house and come off as well to do upper middle class people.  Funny yet serious.  Meeting them was the highlight of the trip!

We arrived back at the house and C begins setting up his equipment.  Remember, he is a paranormal investigator.  He took 150 feet of electrical cable and installed 4 IR cameras around the perimeter of the yard, every square inch was viewable on his fancy laptop computer.  No way in hell is a Bigfoot showing up within a mile of this joint.  (Rolling my eyes).  I go over to the house and sit with A and his friend and more and more people are arriving.  What a circus!  It is now about 10 pm and with a 3/4 moon we have some pretty good light...not only that but each of the 8 "paranormal investigators" were talking and laughing and shining their flashlights into the woods, the barn, into each other.  Talk about FRUSTRATION!  Never again.

D and I had on our parabolic mics TRYING to listen, anyway.  It's very easy to tell when people are afraid to be in the woods.  This gang was terrified!  LOL

D, me and another decided to take a quiet night hike and it was peaceful to get away from the circus.  We returned and at about midnight I decided to crawl into my sleeping bag in the back of my Squatchmobile and crash until the hoopla died down.

Finally around 3:30 am the others decided to call it a night and left.  The woods were weirdly silent.  No owls, no crickets, no spring peepers, not even any mosquitoes!  I fell back into a deep slumber.

I awoke to a warm sunshine, put on my boots and stumbled my scary looking ass out of the car.  The witness called me over and provided hot coffee and a rest room break.

C and his wife were getting ready to leave while A, D and myself were chatting.  They left and the 3 of us heard to weirdest call coming from the woods.  I said it sounded like a dog/frog mix.  It then traveled a distance around us and it was closer, and still kept calling out...it was like a hoarse beagle/frog/bird sound.  D grabbed his parabolic and we went towards the barn...we then heard another call coming from a half mile away the OTHER direction.  We aren't sure what it was, but 2 of them were communicating.

D and I then headed towards the coal mines and hiked a bit.  Found a great foot print with mid-tarsal break!  Nothing else though, no mountain lion tracks, etc.

We returned and said our goodbyes then went our separate ways.  The summer is early and I am sure once things die down, we will return to that area.  I have no reason to not believe that there is something in them thar woods!

Until the next adventure my friends!

PS.  Well it appears that I have offended the said "Paranormal Investigator" who obviously does not understand that the phrase "amateur" implies that he is not a "professional" paranormal investigator.  Unless you are paid  for your service, you are an amateur.  If you golf on Sundays, that does not make you a professional, however, if you get Titleist to pay for your equipment, and entry fees into tournaments, then you are a professional.

I will not be invited back by them, darn. And I thought this investigation was going to be the one that transformed me from amateur reporter to PROFESSIONAL BIGFOOT FIELD REPORTER!

Have a great day!

Matt Moneymaker Confronts Critics

Posted by Loren Coleman on Cryptomundo-
Matt Moneymaker has addressed issues and content raised in recent postings here tied to his new program, “Finding Bigfoot.”
Here they are, unedited.
First, Moneymaker responses to the story that the Georgia police dashcam video is due to a teen hoaxer in a gorilla suit (“Georgia Dash Cam Footage a Hoax?“):
The comments by Jarrard were not true, as we discovered while we were there. He wouldn’t take questions from us when we tried to nail down his story.
No one from the sheriff’s department went out to speak with any of the neighbors after the incident … We spoke with the neighbors though when we were shooting the episode. There was never any college students living in the area, and there was no photo of college kids with a gorilla costume. Jarrard story sounded unlikely from the beginning, and apparently it didn’t happen.
None of the other sheriffs had heard about this story that Jarrard told to a reporter. It seems he came up with the story to quel any fear that local people might have about a monster in the woods, and to prevent hunters from going to look for one.
and
There was no other show that aired the dashcam footage. Finding Bigfoot was the first program to air the footage. Lotsa false nonsense coming up on this site today, but anonymous people claiming things they kinda sorta recall but can’t quite put their finger on it.
Next, Moneymaker replies to the “wood knock” and “call blasting” claims of who did it first:
That’s pretty weak … a book published in 1993 about a famous indian story teller. It doesn’t count. I had already been talking about that behavior for a year or more on the Internet (and debating with all the people who were saying I was crazy to suggest that) while that book was being assembled. I had been saying that bigfoots use knocks to locate eachother prior to 92, but all you have is the claim by a famous “story teller” in a 1993 book … that he knew they did that long ago. It doesn’t count.
Bill Dranginis is notorious for not telling the truth, and he was kicked out of the BFRO almost 15 years ago for exactly that reason. If he says he recalls an article describing someone else doing call-blasting before I did it … then he needs to produce that article. I kinda doubt it exists. Dranginis would not hesitate to make up something like that. Also, there were no recordings of sasquatches available in the 1980’s that could be used for that purpose. I got the first fairly clean recording that could that be used for sound blasting, and I got it in 1993.
Let’s see Titmus’ writings saying he did wood knocks back and forth with a sasquatch in BC … not just someone’s “recollection” of him talking about that.

Update on the Georgia Dashcam Video

As I stated a few months ago, the dashcam video was proved to be a teenager's prank!

Bigfoot ‘sighting' lures TV network

By Sharon Hall

Although it's not writ in stone, Animal Planet is making plans to visit Lumpkin and Union counties. They are stalking the legend of Bigfoot.

The Discovery Channel, which produces Animal Planet, called local resident Mary Scott, requesting an interview with her. Scott, as well as a Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office deputy with whom she was riding during a Citizens Law Enforcement Academy ride-along, reportedly saw a Bigfoot about a year-and-a-half ago and captured it on the dashboard cam.

Scott said they were out in the Frogtown area when the sighting occurred.

“We were going about 55 mph on a curvy road. It was really late-after midnight, I think. We hadn't passed any other cars, and this thing came out of nowhere,” Scott says. “The officer hit the brakes and we both jumped out. We looked on both sides of the road but didn't see anything, and we looked at each other kind-of like, ‘You saw that, didn't you? I saw that.'”

Realizing the event had been recorded by the patrol car's dash cam, Scott and the officer returned to the Sheriff's Office where they viewed the happening on a larger screen.

“We were both just shocked,” Scott says. “It was really tall, and it really looked like the pictures you've seen of Bigfoot.”

The film found it's way onto the Internet, and that's how the Discovery Channel tracked Scott down, she says.

“I told them it all happened in seconds. It just came and went,” she says.

The TV representative told Scott they are planning to visit the area in February and plan to camp out in the area where she and the deputy made the sighting.

They may change their minds, however, when they learn that Sheriff Stacy Jarrard claims to have proven the sighting to be a hoax. Jarrard said he went out the next day to question homeowners in the area. At the first house he stopped at, he says, there were two young men, students at North Georgia College & State University, who were “acting really nervous. You could see their hearts were beating really fast,” he says.

The two did not admit to the prank right away, but later in the week they copped to one of them donning a gorilla suit and running across the road in front of vehicles on the night in question. Jarrard says he even has a photograph of the two boys with the gorilla suit.

If Animal Planet does decide to not to visit Lumpkin, they will probably still most likely visit the North Georgia area.

“They sent us a letter requesting to film at Track Rock in Union County,” said John Campbell with the National Forest Ranger Station in Blairesville. “The area is an archeological site, and is purported to have the footprint on Bigfoot.”

Bigfoot in Spokane

KYLY.com~A Spokane woman out for a day hike along the Spokane river claims to have proof of the mysterious and elusive Bigfoot.
Samantha, who did not give her last name, and her friends were hiking at Downriver Park over the weekend when they captured Bigfoot by using their iPhone camera.Samantha posted a YouTube video of the creature a few days later.

In her post, Samantha said she didn't notice Bigfoot until she looked at her video when she got home. So, far more than 1,500 people have viewed the video online."Someone asked me in the comments section if I believed in Bigfoot before the video," wrote Samantha in an e-mail to KXLY."I have never given it much thought, but now I'm not so sure. Seem real enough to me," she said.

Towards the end of the video they show the object in slow-motion and  enhanced.  To me it looks like it is a big 'ol hoax,  The leg and rear area seem baggy like a costume.  Oh well...back to the drawing board!

A New Report of an Old Encounter

As told by Sean J.~
Saturday night I was at a longtime friends house as he was telling some other guests about a scary incident that happened to him when he was in high school.
I knew the story as I had heard it several times before and had always gotten a good laugh out of it...but this time he added a few details that he had never mentioned before.
It was sometime in the early '80's and he was with his girlfriend and another couple at a "makeout spot", the Old Stone Bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. To give each the other couple privacy, he and his date decided to go for a walk down a closed road. The road went down a hill and into a valley. It was a moonlit night and visibility was not bad. As he and his date got about 1/2 mile from the car, they both saw "a large man suddenly sit up inside the treeline on the right", ahead of them. They both froze. "And the guy was big. His head was probably 4ft off the ground as he was sitting there. And then he got up, with a real creepy weird movement. He was tall." (*The following parts are what he never told me before*)"He had like real long arms, like down to his knees", as he told this part of the story he was motioning with his hands on his arms, to show the length. "And he started to walk towards us and stepped onto the road. And it stunk....really bad like something died. I grabbed my girls arm and said "Run!"...but apparently I didnt grab her arm. I got to the car and started pounding on the windows and screaming for them to let me in. I yelled that if they didnt open the doors I was gonna break the fucking window! Theres a guy out here in the woods!...and then I realized the girl wasnt there! Shit! I ran back down the road and she was STILL STANDING IN THE SAME PLACE! Frozen with fear!I dont know where the guy was and didnt even think to look. I just grabbed the girl and basically dragged her back up the road to the car and they opened the doors and I told them to get the hell outta here."
This guy knows nothing about bigfoot, doesnt care about bigfoot and had never mentioned the arm length or the smell before when he was telling the story, and would have no reason to lie. The only people there last night was myself and another couple.
I almost fell over when told these additional details.
By the way, he lives in Bedford.

Caught On Cam: Bigfoot In Colorado?

Is Bigfoot real? It’s a question that many have asked since the first sightings back in the 1800s when explorers began talking about an ape-like creature that walked like a man. Many scientists have brushed off reports that the creatures exists, and so far no real proof has been presented.

Daniel Masias hopes to be the one to prove Bigfoot’s exists. His fascination began in 1982 when he claimed to have seen two of the creatures near his Green Mountain Falls home one morning.

“In the winter, when there was snow, we noticed there were footprints. The prints didn't have shoes on them; they were just bare feet," he recalled. Masias described the creatures as hairy and less than 6 feet tall, but the footprints they left behind were not human-like. Masias said one creature has a foot span of about 12 inches, the other about 7 inches.”So, not really big, about average human size," he said. When asked why no one has seen these creatures or taken pictures with current technology, Masias said he thinks the creatures are coming through a wormhole, an intergalactic travel portal from one galaxy to another.Masias isn’t the only one to have claimed to have seen Bigfoot. Ken French, a ranger for the Pikes Peak District, remembers seeing a strange creature near Centennial Point, near the summit of the peak. “I saw a dark uniformed color individual walking on the snow, and I stopped my tour bus and ask for binoculars,” recalled French. He thinks the creature was about 1,000 yards away. "It was big and dark and it had a big gate, so it looked unusual to me.” French remembered that it walked like a person, but he felt it was odd at the time.

"It's not unusual to see people on a snow slope, usually on a ridge line walking, but you do see people up there occasionally, but it's usually a couple of people,” said French. After the numerous sightings on Pikes Peak, ranger put up a Bigfoot crossing sign to warn visitors of what they could be in store for when they drive up to the 14,110 foot summit.Masias is convinced he will get a picture of the creature, he thinks is Bigfoot. His motion-sensor camera already has snapped pictures that no one can explain, including one he said is an alien.

Dan believes this image captured on his motion sensitive camera is that of an alien type creature.
